• What is Cancel For Any Reason?
  Cancel For Any Reason is an optional upgrade that provides partial reimbursement for prepaid and non-refundable trip payments if a trip is canceled for a reason not otherwise covered by a policy.

• What am I covered for?
  CANCEL FOR ANY REASON

  The Company will reimburse for the Forfeited, pre-paid Trip Costs up to the Maximum Limit shown in the Schedule if the Insured cancels the Trip for any reason not otherwise covered by this policy provided all of the following conditions are met:

  a) The Insured purchased this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage at the same time as the base policy and within the Early Purchase Window;

  b) this insurance coverage is purchased for the full cost of all non-refundable prepaid Trip arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties and/or restrictions;

  c) the cost of any subsequent arrangements added to the same Trip are insured within the number of days listed in the Early Purchase Window of the date of payment or deposit; and

  d) the Insured cancels the insured Trip no less than 48 hours prior to the Departure Date.

  This coverage will be terminated and no benefits will be paid under this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage if the full costs of all prepaid, non-refundable Trip arrangements are not insured. In this event any policy cost paid for this Cancel for Any Reason Coverage will be refunded.

  SPECIAL NOTIFICATION OF CLAIM

  The Insured must notify the Travel Supplier within 72 hours or no less than 48 hours prior to departure, whichever is sooner, in the event of a claim. The Company will not be liable for any additional penalty charges incurred that would not have been imposed had the Insured notified the Travel Supplier within the specified period. If the Insured is unable to provide cancellation notice within the required timeframe, they must provide proof of the circumstance that prevented timely notification.

  EARLY PURCHASE WINDOW: Within 15 days of Initial Trip Payment.
